What type of Lumber do you use?
All of our lumber is machine stress rated, and we also can fabricate with LVL materials.
How long does it take to get trusses?
Depending on the size of job, anywhere from 1-4 weeks, typically, from the approval.
Why use a floor truss vs I-Joist?
With a floor truss plumbing, HVAC and electrical can be installed up in the floor level. This can gain approximately 12" extra ceiling height in rooms below.
How long can we span with a roof truss?
We have shipped an 84' Pole Barn before. This is dependent upon other design criteria, but usually we can accommodate long spans.
Can I cut my roof truss?
Call your truss designer before you cut anything. Some trusses can be trimmed while others absolutely cannot.
Can I cut my floor truss?
If using our new product SCS TrueTrims, the ends can be cut up to 12".
